Meet Kalinda

A grandmother who came to writing through prayer

Kalinda Grace is a grandmother, a devoted Christian, and a woman who came to writing the way she came to most things in her life: through prayer.

Her first book was born out of heartache. Watching her daughter walk through the pain of infertility, Kalinda did the only thing she knew to do . she prayed. Those prayers became Praying for a Baby, a devotional written as a labor of love for her daughter and for the Lord.

Her second book began even more quietly . a grandmother speaking blessings over her grandchildren at bedtime, and noticing that something shifted. Their little faces changed. They felt seen by God. They felt covered.

“God was quietly telling me: this is something parents need.”

That calling became Bedtime Blessings for My Baby . 365 prayers, one for every day of a baby's first year, so any parent can end each day speaking God's promises over the child they love most.
