There is a minute, most nights, when the house finally hushes and you are holding a baby who is almost under. You want to say something true over them. You have had a long day. The true sentence will not line up.
That is a specific moment. It is not the long wait. It is not a speech. It is the last quiet minutes before sleep, and you are allowed to borrow words.
