If you are still praying for a baby, you are not forgotten. Not by the people who love you, and not by God, who has kept count of every tear you thought fell unseen.
“Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?” (Psalm 56:8, KJV)
Not one night of this wait has gone unrecorded. And on the nights your heart feels too broken to pray at all, He is not far away. He is closest then:
“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.” (Psalm 34:18, KJV)
If the words will not come tonight, borrow these:
Lord, You see every quiet hope I carry. You know how long I have prayed and how tired my heart is tonight. Stay near me in the waiting. Give me strength for tomorrow, and if it is Your will, please bless me with a child. Until then, hold me, for You have not forgotten me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
I wrote Praying for a Baby after watching my own daughter walk through this wait. It is 40 short days of Scripture, prayer, and hope, one gentle page at a time, for the woman still waiting and for everyone praying beside her. It is on Amazon if you need a companion for the road: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DQ8C1LZY
Come back whenever you need a friend in the wait. I will keep adding quiet words here.
